GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
For most shipments under 500 to 1000 pounds
(excluding full bags of dry materials, kilns and some equipment),
Bracker's prefers to use UPS. The map below shows the estimated
time in transit for UPS shipments. For a chart with shipping costs
for UPS Hundredweight service, view
this page. For larger shipments and oversized or fragile items
such as kilns and other equipment, Bracker's has secured generous
discounts with freight companies with coverage to almost all parts
of the United States. If this applies, select "Freight"
as your shipping method. Shipping time for freight orders is usually
fairly similar to the UPS transit time map, give or take
a day (except in some rural areas). Feel free to call us for rates
and shipping estimates on your larger orders.

UPS Ground
Prompt, dependable, low-cost ground delivery makes UPS Ground an excellent choice for all your routine shipments such as tools, books, glazes, and most mixed shipments under 400 - 500 pounds (do not use UPS for shipping methods for kilns and some wheels).

UPS Next Day Air

Freight
We work with several different LTL (Less Than a Truckload) freight companies for shipments including larger quantities of clay (around 400# or more of combined weights) and large equipment such as kilns, some wheels, etc. When shipping orders via freight, we strive to find the best rate for your particular order, shipping location, and needs (residential vs. commercial delivery, etc.), therefore we don't automatically calculate freight shipping charges online. We will contact you with exact freight charges and any options that may be available to you.
Pick Up At Bracker's
Many of our customers live in the Midwest and will place an order online in advance of a visit to our store in Lawrence, Kansas. Select this method if you plan to pick up your order. If you have a general time frame for your pickup (i.e. Today, Tomorrow, Next Week, The Second Week of the Month, etc.) please indicate it in the comment area during the checkout process.
